He was born April 10, 1987 in New York City, the son of Richard and Virginia Bucci. He attended Westfield schools and graduated from Westfield High School in 2005, where he was a member of Euterpe and was heard on keyboards at many a Folio show. He was on medical leave from Five Towns College in Dix Hills, Long Island, where he pursued studies in jazz and music technology. George loved, wrote and performed music of every kind. He was a graphic arts fan, a sharp humorist and cartoonist manqué. He was a generous and loyal son, brother and friend, and will be missed terribly.
He is survived by his father and mother, Richard and Virginia Bucci; his younger brothers, Mark and Charles; his grandmother, Virginia Hallett Hardesty; his aunt and godmother, Martha Hardesty; his uncles, James Hardesty and John Hardesty; his godfather, Robert Sottile, and many cousins among the Bucci, Scotti, Corradino and Durham families.
A celebration of life service was held on Tuesday, September 7, at the Gray Funeral Home, 318 East Broad Street in Westfield. Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield.
