Mr. Kunz, a highly respected farmer of the Luckenbach community where he resided all of his life, was born January 17, 1885 and had attained the age of 52 years, 3 months and 20 days.
Having grown to manhood he, on February 7, 1911, united in marriage with Miss Sophie Segner his surviving widow.
Blessing this union were eight children of whom one, a daughter Elizabeth preceded him in death. Surviving him besides his widow are three sons; Theo, Edmund and Richard; four daughters, Mrs. Benno Jung, Kerrville, Pauline, Louise and Rosalie Kunz; a brother, John Kunz; four sisters, Mrs. Christian Jenschke, Bandera, Mrs. Joe Jenschke, Mrs. George Kenschke and Mrs. Willie Petsch all of Luckenbach.
