J.M. Amos, an old man, living near Bigelow, died Friday, from typhoid fever and was buried Mound City, Monday.

Jos. H. Amos, died at his home south of Craig Thursday morning, November 7th. Mr. Amos was born in Franklin county, Virginia, December 1, 1841, and he moved to this vicinity about 40 years ago. His funeral was held on Friday by Rev. Brummett of the M.E. Church south of which Mr. Amos became a member in 1893. Mrs. Amos will make her home with her daughter Mrs. Jennie Conner, of near Springfield, as will also the little orphan grand daughter whom Mrs. Amos is raising. --Craig Mirror
