Imogene Holden Rusch, 85, of Duncan, died Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008, in her home. Memorial service will be held at a later date in Tempe, Ariz. Local arrangements were handled by Don Grantham Funeral Home.
She was born Aug. 24, 1923, in Loco, to Ramon Harry and Maudie Ollie Wilson Holden. She married Raymond Rusch on April 15, 1949, in Ada. She graduated from Ada High School and attended East Central University. Imogene worked as a "Rosie the riveter" for Consolidated in Fort Worth, Texas. She also was an "Avon lady" and homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond of the home; a daughter, Cheryl J. King of Tempe; a brother, Wayne Holden of Duncan; and three grandchildren: Jacob King, Matthew King and Sarah King. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Peggy Nell Duncan; a brother, John C. Holden; and a son, Kyle R. Rusch.
