The headstone was recorded in the 1950s by Mrs. H. Flood Madison for the DAR's "Louisiana Tombstone Inscriptions" series, Vol. 6, Page 146. It was also recorded in a July, 1991 survey, which gave the below tombstone inscription.

Marriage records of Union County, AR show F.S. Moore, 21 years old of Three Creeks, Union County, AR married W.M. Ruffin, 31 years old of Three Creeks as well married there December 5, 1888.

An online family tree states her full name as Saphronia Frances "Frankie" Moore.
