WEAVER, EDITH FLATFORD - age 74 of Powell, passed away October 11, 2011 at home with her family. Edith was a member of Brickyard Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: parents, Otis and Lucille Flatford; brothers, Brownie, Hubert, Clifford, Paul, Walter, and Lester; sisters, Effie Murdock and Zelda Burton. Survivors: husband Kenneth Weaver; brother and sister-in-law Ermil and Joan Flatford; step children, Trudy Byrd, Buddy Weaver and wife Joan, Patricia Franklin and husband Jim, John Weaver and Benita Koontz; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends; special friend and sister-in-law, Ann Flatford. Edith was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Family will receive friends Friday 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m. in Cooke Chapel. Reverend Tony White officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Cooke Mortuary and go in procession to New Loyston Memorial Gardens for 2:00 p.m. interment. www.cookemortuary.com
