Juanita Oliver Morris

Juanita Oliver Morris, 93, of Denton, went to be with Jesus on Monday October 10, 2011 at The Atrium Medical Center in Corinth.

Juanita was born on June 18, 1918 in Corinth, TX to Ewin and Bertha Oliver. She was married to Rev. Leonard Leroy Morris on September 15, 1936 in Denton and was married to her sweetheart for 61 years.

She is survived by her son, Bob Morris and daughter-in-law Carla of Estero, Florida; daughter, Linda Knowles of Denton; daughter-in-law, Donna Morris of Houston; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren; along with beloved nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; three brothers; one sister; one son, Tommy Deen Morris of Houston and one son-in-law, Allen Ray Knowles of Denton.

A visitation will be held from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday October 13, 2011 at the First Baptist Church, 1100 Malone St., Denton. Rev. Bill Lytell will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
