Earl A. Rogers, 76, 2015 DePauw, died Friday at his home. He was a native of Tennessee, moving to Muncie in 1948. He was a retired mechanic formerly employed with Roberts Trucking Co., Eaton. He belonged to the Apostolic Church.
Surviving him are his wife, Pernie; two daughters, Mrs. Doris Bryant and Mrs. Joyce Mills, Muncie; three sons, Everett, Concord, Tenn., Maurice, Matthews, and Terrence, Knoxville, Tenn.; three half-brothers, Sam and Charles Prater, Maryville, Tenn., and Ralph Prater, Detroit; one half-sister, Mrs. Nina Dunlap, Rockford, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Parson Mortuary Chapel with burial in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and prior to services Monday.
