Frances "Cricket" Kendall Abraham, 90, of Fairchance, Pa., died Saturday, April 10, 2004, at home with her family by her bedside. She was born July 1, 1913, in Masontown, Pa., daughter of Morris Christopher Kendall and Margery Gribble Kendall.

"Cricket" was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Fairchance where she attended the Mixed Adult Sunday School Class, Presbyterian Woman's Association, was a Choir Member for many years, and handled the Church Flower Fund. She was a member of the Uniontown Hospital Ladies Auxiliary Fairchance Branch, Order of the Eastern Star where she was a recipient of The Miriam Award Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem and also a member of Margaret E. Caven Shrine 42 A.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Robert Abraham on March 20, 1971, a son, Richard D. Abraham on March 2, 1999, two sisters, Agnes Christy Gans and Mary Loretta Brooks, three brothers, James Treasurer Kendall, Edgar Thompson Kendall and Otto Lloyd Kendall, and her parents.

Surviving are two children: Robert Abraham and his wife, Joan, and Randy Abraham and his wife, Susan, all of Fairchance, Pa.; a daughter-in-law, Judy Abraham of Fairchance, Pa.; six grandchildren: Michelle Dulik of Morgantown, West Virginia, Scott Abraham and his wife, Lori, and Jennifer Howell and her husband, Ron, all of Fairchance, Pa., Bobbi Jo Sisler and her husband, David, of Uniontown, Pa., Edward Abraham and his wife, Cathy, of Deer Lake, Pa., Leah Abraham of Fairchance, Pa.; and 12 great grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

The Family will receive Friends in the GOLDSBORO- TOMI FUNERAL HOME, 21 East Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Visitation continues Wednesday, April 14, in the First Presbyterian Church of Fairchance from 10:30 a.m. until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. Joey Hickok officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa.
