On the 1920 census John and Clara were living at 1023 Burnett. Her Uncle Benjamin was living at 1015 Burnett.
Clara and John lived at 1023 Burnett the remainder of lives. They had two sons:
(1) Elmer J. (Ted) died four months after his father of a heart attack, he was living at the family residence 1023 Burnett, formerly worked for the Army Ammunition Plant at Charleston, IN and later as a para mutual clerk, his wife was Sylvia M. Padgett who died 12 Jan. 1979, age 66.
(2) Raymond B. who was working for High Rock Ginger Ale on the 1952 city directory. In 1972 he and wife Virginia A. were living at 827 Milton St. and he was driving for Checker Cab. In 1987 he was retired and living at 827 Milton. Virginia died 1 Dec. 1995, age 80. She was retired from Pryor's Resturant, was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church and is buried at Evergreen Cemetery. Raymond was still at 827 Milton on the 1997 city directory. He did not appear in 1998 and probably died in 1997 or 1998.
