Espy, Pa., March 11 (AP)—Funeral services will be held in this Columbia county community for Harry Abbott, 87-year-old pioneer showman and father of Screen Comedian Bud Abbott. He died in New York City Monday. The elder Abbott was an advance man for the old P. T. Barnum circus, an actor, carnival producer and theater manager. His son at Hollywood was fearful that picture work would prevent his attendance at the burial services.
