Rustburg, Va., Aug. 2--Mrs. Lafayette Williams, who died at her home near this place, was buried at New Concord church at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Besides her husband and six children, Mrs. Williams is survived by her nother and father. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Thompson, and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. A. R. Evans, Mrs. Charlie Williams, Mrs. Joe Foster, Misses Beulah and Kate Thompson, Mesars, George, Fred and Herbert Thompson.
"Asleep in Jesus" and "I Would Not Live Always" were sung at the grave by the choir.
The pall bearers were Mr. Moses Jones, Mr. Debney Tweedy, Emmett Tweedy, Otis Tweedy, Tom Rucker and Joe Covington.
