Tuesday, February 27, 1923 :
Betty Maxine, little daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Charles Stump of 528 W. Piper Street, died at 7:30 p.m. yesterday of bowel infection aged 4 months and 26 days.
Funeral services will be held at Martin's Chapel at 8 a.n. Wednesday conducted by Rev. Westrate of the Baptist Church, and interment will be made in Dunkard Cemetery in Bethel township.
The little one was born at the Holmes hospital on October 1, 1922 and was the third child. Besides the parents, two sisters, Lois Genevieve and Hazel Irene survive.
Friends of Mr. and Mrs. Stump of Macomb were sorry to hear of the death of their child which occurred early today. Mrs. Stump was formerly Bessie Hunter of this city, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hunter, former residents, but now of Chicago.
