Margaret E. Long, 84, a resident of Reeders Memorial Hospital, formerly of Hancock, died Tuesday, July 3, 1990 at the home.

Born in Hancock she was the daughter of the late Howard and Bessie E. Beard Hess.

Her husband, Reuben T. Long, died in 1973.

She was a member of Hancock United Methodist Church was also a member of the AARP.

She is survived by two sisters: Helen R. Eddy of Hancock and Kathleen Bohrer of Frederick, Md and several nieces and nephews.

One sister, Mary Lanahan and two brothers: Kenneth B. Hess and William Hess, preceded her in death.

Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 6 at the Hancock United Methodist Church. The Rev. Kenneth McDonald officiated. Burial was made in Rehobeth United Methodist Cemetery near Hancock.

The Grove Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
