Services To Be Held on Friday

Funeral services for Floyd E. Holliday, 66, who died at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at the Muscatine county hospital following an extended illness, will be held Friday at the Letts Methodist church. The Rev. Leo Cox will officiate and burial will be in the Letts cemetery. The body is at the Stacy Funeral home at Columbus Junction.
A son of Charles and Mary Adeline Furnas Holliday, Mr. Holliday was born Jan. 20, 1889. His marriage to Edna Mae Fulton (Fullerton) took place Jan. 31, 1910, and the couple spent most of their married lives in this community.
Survivors include his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Donald Baer of Wilton, Mrs. Edward Voss of Davenport, and Marie Holliday at home; one son, Floyd Jr., of Columbus Junction; and one brother, Glen, of Letts.
