Evelyn Linthicum died at St. Marys hospital at 4 oclock Monday afternoon. She was eighty years of age and was one of the oldest residents living in Decatur. The body was removed to Morans undertaking parlors and from there to the home of a nephew A. J. Linthicum, 513 E.William street. The funeral will be held at 1 oclock Wednesday afternoon. Rev. L. M. Smith officiating. It will be held from the home.
She was the wife of F.C.Linthicum who was formerly a shoemaker here. He is eighty one years of age and has been living recently with his daughter at Haynes. If he is able he will come to Decatur this afternoon.
Mrs. Linthicum had lived in Decatur and vicinity for about forty years. Two weeks ago she returned to Decatur from Iowa where she had been visiting. She was taken ill and went to St. Marys hospital. Her death was due to old age.
She leaves one stepson J. P. Linthicum of Victor? and stepdaughter in Council Bluffs and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Smothers, in Haynes.

MRS. EVELYN LINTHICUM--The funeral of Mrs. Evelyn Linthicum was held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the home of her newphew, 513 East William street. The services were conducted by Rev. E. M. Smith, pastor of the First Christian church. The body was taken to Harristown for interment.
