Velma Cox Culpepper, age 91, of Quitman, passed away on March 16, 2014 at Lakeside Living Center.
She was born on August 16, 1922 to George and Nora (Ivey) Cox in Clarke County, MS.
Velma is survived by her brothers, Pete Cox and Irby Cox and sisters, Catherine Mosley, Christine Poole and Ruby Mosley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C. H. Culpepper; sons, Danny Culpepper and David Culpepper; and parents George Washington and Nora Conelia Cox.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014, 11:00 am at the Mont Rose Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Coats officiating.
