Originally buried in the "family cemetery" (Blalock Munden Cemetery). Moved to Grange Hall Cemetery in the 1960's and a new memorial marker was made. The year of death on the marker is incorrect, as he died in 1856. His wife, Sarah Brazier, actually died in Alabama before he and 4 sons came to Texas. Charles and Sarah had 9 children. 4 daughters stayed in Alabama, 4 sons came to Texas, 1 son born in 1809 unknown story.
