Ruby L.Peyton
A Woodburn resident, Ruby L. Peyto, died Monday, Sept. 3, at a Salem nursing home. She was 70 years old.
Born at Howard, Kan., she came to Woodburn in 1945 from Hood River. She was a member of Woodburn Presbyterian church, Eastern Star and Rebekahs.
Survivors include the widower Everett; son Jesse of Odell; daughter Mrs. Letha Cavalier of Milwaukie; brother Howard Adams of Emporia, Kan.; sister Mrs. Ruth Landreth of Manteca, Calif.; four grandchildren, and seven greatgrandchildren.
Services were held Wednesday Sept. 4, at Ringo-Cornwell Funeral Chapel. Interment was at Belle Passi cemetery.
