Mrs. Clement was born and reared in North Carolina, but moved to Chesnee in 1916. She was a member of the Chesnee Methodist Church.
Survivng are; three daughters, Mrs. Edna Hines of Rutherfordton, Mrs. Mary Carlton of Duncan Park Drive, Spartanburg, and Mrs. Ida Martin of Chesnee; one son, C.C. Clement of Forest Ave., Spartanburg; one sister, Mrs. Nannie Thompson of Chesnee; two brothers, W.T. Tanner of Lexington and G.C. Tanner of Oklahoma City, OK.
Also two half sisters, Mrs. Effie Reeves of Ridgeway and Mrs. Ollie Williams of Baltimore, MD; two half brothers, A.B. Tanner of Charleston and B.H. Tanner of San Francisco, CA; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
