ABNER THOMPSON IS CLAIMED BY DEATH:
Dies at his home south of Markle this morning; Funeral Saturday.
Abner Thompson, 58, died ar 8 a.m. today at his home located one and one-half miles south of Markle on state road 3, from complications. He had been in failing health for the past two years, and his condition became serious about a week ago.

The decedent was born Oct. 24, 1882 in Fulton County, near Rochester, a son of William and Laura Biggs Thompson. His marriage to Clara Fritz took place May 16, 1908 in Huntington county.

Surviving are the widow, two sons, Maundo and Jason, both at home; three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Walters of Huntington, and Bernice and Mildred, both at home; two grandchildren; four brothers, John Thompson, of Disko; William and Isaac Thompson, both of Rochester, and Jesse Thompson, of Akron, and a sister, Mrs. Maude Holloway, of Rochester. Two children are deceased.

The body will be at the Funderburg funeral home in Markle until the time for funeral services. Friends may call there after 10 a.m. Friday. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Funderburg funeral home in charge of Rev. M. R. Scott, pastor of the Markle Church of Christ. Burial will be in the Markle cemetery.
