William, the son of William W. Thompson and Laura A. Biggs, had nine brothers and sisters, John Franklin, Charley, Abner, Jesse H., two infant girls, Maude Marie (Holloway), Isaac Adamson "Ike" and Sarah Marie (Landis). He married Mary E. Holloway ,15 Jan 1910, in Fulton Co., IN.

William W. THOMPSON, 71, R.R. 2, Rochester, died at 8 p.m. Thursday (October 13, 1955) in Woodlawn hospital. He had been seriously ill for the past three years. Mr. Thompson had been a resident of Fulton county his entire life. The son of William and Laura THOMPSON, he was born Aug. 22, 1884, in Fulton county and on Jan. 15, 1910, he was married to Mary HOLLOWAY. Surviving are his wife, at home; a son, Charles [THOMPSON], Michigan City; grandchildren; two brothers, John and Jess [THOMPSON], both of Akron; and a sister, Mrs. Granville HOLLOWAY, this city. Five sons and a daughter preceded him in death. The body rests at the Foster funeral home. Rites are incomplete.

Funeral services for William W. THOMPSON will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. DST Monday at the Foster funeral home. Burial will be in the Nichols cemetery, northeast of Rochester.
