Loral Ray Peterson whose entire world revolved around his wife and family, died on his birthday at the age of seventy-seven, in Salt Lake City after a brave struggle with cancer.

Pete was born November 12, 1914 in Shelley, Idaho to Ida and Magnus Ray Peterson. Married Lou Cille Brown in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on October 8, 1942.

Served for three 1/2 years overseas in the U.S. Army during World War II. Went through married life with an 80% hearing loss, yet his wit and humor brought a song to all who knew him. His ability as a professional mechanic helped friends and family through many difficult problems.

Preceded in death by a four-year-old son, Scott Dean, both parents, and two brothers. Survived by a son, L. Tod, two daughters, Glenda Rae Despain, Debbi Lee and spouse Lynn Jensen; four grandaughters, Krista, Sharli, Shalee, and Tahnia; three sisters, Wanda Barrett, Jean Cross, and Marlene Flint.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, November 15, 1991 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy.
