Mrs. Bowman was employed at Container Corporation for ten years. She was a member of College Avenue United Methodist Church, had earned her certificate for home decorating, and loved to crochet and cook for her family. She was a kindly person who was loved by everyone that knew her. Donella was an excellent wife and mother, and she loved her family very much.
Surviving are her loving husband, Carl E. Bowman; two sons; her daughter; her step-daughter; six grandchildren; her brother, Denton; two sisters, Mary Ann and Liz; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, John Campbell.
The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. Thursday, May 17, 2007, at Parson Mortuary. Private entombment will follow in Elm Ridge Mausoleum.
