OSCAR 8PRENKLE
Oscar Sprenkle, 79, died yesterday
at the Lancaster General Hospital,
Lancaster, where he has been
a patient since the first of December,
following a heart attack. For
the last year, he has been a resident
of the Reformed Mennonlte
Home of Lancaster.
He was born east of Waynesboro
at the Sprenkle homestead, the son
of Rev. Isaiah and Susan Frantz
Sprenkle. Most of his life was lived
in the vicinity of Waynesboro.
Surviving are two sisters and two
brothers, Mrs. Harvey Raifsnider,
Chambersburg; Mrs. Daniel Nusbaum,
Bluffton, Ohio; Jacob F.
Sprenkle, Brldgeton, N. J., and
Elam R. Sprenkle, Waynesboro.
Funeral services will be held
Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Grove
Funeral Home in charge of Rev.
Joseph Byers. of the Reformed
Mennonlte Church. Interment will
be made In Burns Hill Cemetery.
Friends may ball Friday evening
from 7 until 0 at the funeral home.
The family requests that flowers be
omitted
