Son of John Baptiste JUSTICE and Harriet JEFFERY.

Married - Hedwig KONOPACKI, about 1896.

Children - Johanna Harriet, Herbert A., Cecelia Velma, John Bernard, Harriet A., Anne F., Magdalene H., Helen Elizabeth, and Robert E. JUSTICE.

Was a member of the Knight Hose House Company No. 5. Twelve men belonged to this company. July 30, 1890, they gathered at Col. Knight's home and presented him with a handsome picture of their group, in the center of which was Col. Knight. This picture, for many years, hung in the lobby of the Knight Hotel in Ashland. Jack was also a dance "caller" in Ashland. Jack moved to the Coria area where he and his family built homes. They farmed and worked in the woods, sawmills and other jobs. He worked at various jobs in the Ashland area until they moved to Highbridge in the early 1900's.
