Funeral services were held in Pontiac Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, the body being brought to Dwight for burial in McDowell cemetery.

The termination of a life of love and devotion to her husband and family was marked by the passing away of Mrs. Hugh Thompson at the family residence on East Madison street at 5 o'clock Tuesday morning, after an illness extending over a year.
Mrs. Thompson was born at Fishkill, N.Y., on October 30, 1850. She was the daughter of Mary Losee and William H. Ketcham and at the age of five moved to Dwight, Ill. On October 26, 1869, she was united in marriage to Hugh Thompson at Dwight, Ill., from which union nine children were born, of which she leaves five, viz: Mrs. R.G. Sinclair, of Galesburg; Mrs. E.J. McGregor, of Pontiac; Clyde H., and William M., of Dwight, and Harold F., of Pontiac. She also leaves two sisters, and besides her immediate family she was the grandmother of nine.
Besides being a member of the Presbyterian Church, she was an active worker in the Eastern Star and Woman's Relief Corps.
