Obituary of Dirvin Corle
Dirvin Corle of Hollidaysburg, a native of Woodbury, died at 8:15 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15, 1983, at Mercy Hospital after a brief illness.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Plank & Stitt Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg, by Dr. Harry Spaeth.
Burial was in Alto-Reste Park.
He was born in Woodbury, the son of Joseph C. and Amanda (Perrin) Corle, and June 11, 1940, in Altoona, married Grace Wertz.
Surviving are his wife, three children, Nancy Hopkins of Pensacola, Fla., and Nan Savine and John R. of Altoona, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are two sisters and a brother, Nannie Smith and Maria Callihan of Martinsburg and Frank P. of Woodbury.
