Susan was the 'glue' of the family, at some point it appears, most of her siblings, and parents lived with her, during hard times. She cared for her father in the last years of his life, and after his death, made sure all of his children received fair shares of his lands. To me she should have received it all, for her heroic efforts, over the years caring for entire families needs, in times of their hardships.

Truly, a wonderful women, setting aside her own losses, for the greater good of her family. It seems after her death, the family scattered about, and life as they knew it, had change forever, altering the course of our family history, for better or for worse, life continued forth.

She was all that a 'Big-Sister' could be... When her Brother Ben & Polly passed away, leaving a houseful of children, Susan took in my gr grandfather, Thomas Monroe White, and raised him until adulthood. Thus, the reason I am here today myself... The impact one person can have on future generations, is not appreciated, as it should be...
