Bro James Benton was raised a Master Mason in 1849 at Armstrong Lodge #239 in Pennsylvania - He arrived in Minnesota, Meeker County 10 feb 1857 and first affiliated with Forest City Lodge #70 befor affiliating with Golden Fleece Lodge #89 on 12 Mar 1875-- He served --early on-- in the Forest City Home guard in 1862...

Bro Herbert Charles Atkinson was made a Mason at Litchfield Minnesota's Golden fleece Lodge #89, at an age of 24, being initiated 13 Nov 1908, Passed 11 Dec 1908 and raised 8 Jan 1909...

2 more generations follow--they are yet living-- so for confidentiality, data is not, at this time, made available..

Charles Herbert was born on May 4, 1884 to Charles Hess and Ida Ella Mitchell Atkinson in Forest City, Meeker County, Minnesota. He married Lola Belle Bridges in 1913 at the age of 29.

They had at least one child, Charles Atkinson April 26, 1913 to 1966. They moved to Milbank, Grant County, South Dakota. Jenny Krueger
