GEORGE FORWARD, 70, of R.R. 1, Tampico, died March 26, 1994, at CGH Medical Center, Sterling. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Garland Funeral Home, Tampico, and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tampico, with the Rev. Vincent Shindelar officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Tampico. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the family present from 6-8 p.m. and a Bible service at 7:30 p.m. A memorial has been established. Mr. Forward was born Oct. 16, 1923 in Tampico, the son of George A. and Darlene (Anderburg) Forward. He was educated in the Tampico schools. [...] He was a member of the Farm Bureau and Tampico St. Mary's Church. Survivors include his wife; two sons [...]; three daughters [...]; 17 grandchildren; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. William (Thelma) Blum of Oregon, Mrs. Lowell (Mabel) Egert of Prophetstown, and Mrs. Forest (Frances) Leer of Walworth, Wis.; and one brother [...]. He was preceded in death by one grandson and two sisters.
