LOCAL MAN CRASH VICTIM -
Charles McBride, who lived northeast of Fort Collins, died Monday of injuries sustained in an automobile collision in Nebraska, it was reported here Tuesday.
Details of the accident were not yet known here, although it was reported Mr. McBride suffered burns when a vehicle involved caught fire following the accident. He died at Chappell, Nebraska.
Mr. McBride had been a residdent of Fort Collins for about 30 years. He was born June 1, 1880 in Cherokee County, Kansas (Error). He had been a flagman for the Colorado & Southern Railroad and was a member of the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees.
Mr. McBride's wife, Mrs. Georgia E McBride, died here January 17, 1945.
Survivors incldue four step-children - Mrs. Opal Wagner, who livs northeast of Fort Collins, Virgil O'Neal of Omaha, Joe O'Neal of Provo, Utah, and Willard O'Neal of Iowa.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday atthe Blythe-Hollowell mortuary, with Elder R B Wing of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in charge. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery.
