COLORADO CITY ~~ T. C. Hart, 79, died at Root Valley Fair Lodge Wednesday morning after a long illness. Mr. Hart was a retired farmer.
Funeral services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Westbrook with the Reverend S. L. Yielding, former pastor and the Reverend L. B. Edwards, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Colorado City Cemetery under direction of Kiker and Son Funeral Home.
He was born September 11, 1886 in Ellis County and had lived near Westbrook most of his life. Mr. Hart lived in Colorado City the past three years.
A member of the First Baptist Church, he married Teola Blakney in March 1920, in Westbrook.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Allie Lee Hart in 1919,
He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Lucille Moody of Abilene, Mrs. Douglas Barber of Westbrook, Mrs. Nathan Rogers and Mrs. Tom Coker, both of Colorado City; one son, Lloyd Hart of Westbrook; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
