ARRANTS, MILDRED L. - 78 of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away Monday, December 26, 2005. She was the widow of the late W.Y. Arrants, longtime resident of Knoxville.

Survivors include: her two sons, Darryl Johnson and Jim Johnson both of Chattanooga, TN.; two sisters, Mary Bell Cornwell of California, Jimmie Ruth Addison of Louisiana; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2005 at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 4309 Ooltewah-Ringgold Road, Ooltewah, Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718. Arrangements are by Chattanooga Funeral Home - Valley View Chapel, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
