Born Jan. 21, 1905, near Greencastle, she was the daughter of the late William and Reba (Bartle) Kauffman. She had lived most of her life in the Waynesboro area.
Mrs. Flory graduated from Waynesboro High School with the Class of 1923.
She and her husband, the late Lester B. Flory, were married Oct 15, 1927, in Winchester, Va. Mr. Flory died in Dec. 15, 1966. Mrs. Flory moved to Trinity House in the early 1980s and then entered Quincy United Methodist Home on Oct. 6, 1993.
Mrs. Flory was a secretary at Landis Machine Co. for eight years.
She was a member of Waynesboro Church of the Brethren.
She is survived by one son, Robert D. Flory of Mont Alto, a missionary, a grandson; three nieces; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, William Flory; two sisters, Arlene Baker and Margaret Kauffman; and one brother, Rudolph Kauffman in 1994.
