MRS. J. R. FIDLER, CLIFTON HILL, DIES; FUNERAL TUESDAY
Mrs. Thelma Fidler, 69, Clifton Hill, died Saturday night at the Boone County Hospital, Columbia, where she had been a patient since Thursday.
A daughter of the late John and Mary Brockman, she was born in the Ft. Henry neighborhood, Mrs. Fidler was a member of the Clifton Hill Baptist Church, the WMS and the Better Homes Extension Club.
Surviving are: Her husband, J. R.; three daughters, Mrs. Porter Baker, Clifton Hill; Mrs. Mildred Irick, Wichita, Kan.; and Mrs. Vera Borbes, Belton, and one son, W. F. Fidler, Brunswick; two sisters, Mrs. Vera Ware, Hale and Mrs. Fay Mayo, Clifton Hill; three brothers, Curtis Brockman, Lebanon, J. L. Brockman, Carrollton, and Forrest Brockman, Clifton Hill, and eight grandchildren.
The body is at the Patton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow in the Clifton Hill Baptist Church by the Rev. W. W. Jordon, pastor of the North Park Baptist Church in Moberly. The Rev. Leo Pepping, pastor, will assist. Burial will be in Clifton Hill Cemetery.
