John Maxie Brockman, 65, Salisbury, retired mail carrier, died at 1:10 o'clcok this afternoon in Woodland Hospital. He had been ill three weeks.
Tentative funeral arrangements call for services at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in First Baptist Church in Salisbury by the pastor, the Rev. Albert Fauth. Burial will be in Clifton Hill cemetery.

FUNERAL SERVICES IN SALISBURY FOR J. M. BROCKMAN
SALISBURY, June 15--Funeral services for J. Maxie Brockman, who died Monday in a Moberly hospital, were held Wednesday in the Baptist Church by the pastor, the Rev. Albert Fauth.
A native of the Clifton Hill community, Mr. Brockman, 65, was a rural carrier out of the Clifton Hill postoffice for many years, later being transferred to a Bynumville route. He then moved to Salisbury and at the time of his death had been retired for several years.
He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Pearl Sullinger; a daughter, Mrs. William Rison of Kansas City; fourt brothers and three sisters, Wilford Brockman, Fayette, Curtis Brockman, Lebanon, James Brockman, Carrollton, Forrest Brockman, Clifton Hill, Mrs. Ray Fidler and Mrs. Fay Mayo, both of Clifton Hill, and a sister, in Hale.
