WELLS - Pauline Briggs Morton, 89, of Drakes Island, died Friday, Aug. 6, 2010.
She was married to John Joseph Morton II on July 3, 1942, and lived a wonderful, happy life with him for 67 years - until his death this past March. Pauline and John lived for many years in Deering, N.H., before retiring to their summer home on Drakes Island.
Visiting hours will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 12, at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 111 Chapel Road, Wells. A graveside ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 13, at Ocean View Cemetery, U.S. Route 1, Wells. Arrangements are in care of Bibber Memorial Chapel. www.bibberfuneral.com
