Joe E. Seyller of Hampshire died at Sycamore Hospital Sunday morning after an extended illness.

He was born in Iowa the son of George Seyller and Louise Engel Seyller and came to Hampshire with his parents as a child. He engaged in farming until 1952 when he moved to the village. He married Ruth Waughon April 12, 1909.

Surviving in addition to the widow are two sisters, Mrs. Richard (Berta) Meagher, Oak Park, and Mrs. George (Alma) Dilling, Rockford, and a brother Harry of Hampshire.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence and George, and four brothers in infancy.

He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church, Hampshire, the Holy Name Society and the Catholic Order of Forresters.

Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 Wednesday at the church by the Rev. Clement Petit. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Rosary will be recited at 7:30 Tuesday evening at the Fredrick Funeral Home, Hampshire, where friends may call this evening.
