GRAND RAPIDS — Leslie F. Kiner, 80, of 119 South State St., Zeeland. died this morning in Veterans Hospital here following a lingering illness. He was a veteran of World War I and he was a life-time member of Willard G. Leenhouts Post of Holland, American Legion.

Surviving are his wife, Mona; two sons, Jack W. of Reno, Nev., and Michael L. of Holland; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Janice) Schowalter of Decatur, Ill.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister. Mrs. Raymond Skaro of Sioux Falls, S.D.

Graveside services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Zeelend Cemetery under the auspices of the American Legion.

Calling hours at the Yntema Funeral Home, Zeeland, are 2 to 4 Sunday afternoon.
