She married Jean-Baptiste (John) Beaudette on 4 October, 1886, also at Saint Peter Church. Beaudette died of an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound on 1 Dec 1892. They had 3 children together, the last, a daughter, was born after the death of her father. Louise then married Thomas W Mason on 2 October 1901 in Minneapolis. She was listed as a widow in Minneapolis city directories beginning in 1911, although it is uncertain whether her husband was actually deceased. She died in Minneapolis. Her children with John Beaudette were Raoul Joseph (1887-1926), Joseph Albert (1890-1958), and Marie Camille, born and baptized in Mendota in August of 1893.
