"Mrs. Clifford Deavours, a first cousin of Prosecuting Attorney F. A. Seal ad sister of Michael Seal of Vincennes formerly of Washington died Saturday morning at the home of her mother, at St. Marys. Her maiden name was May Seal and her marriage to Mr. Deavours followed a romance that had its inception when Mrs. Deavours was a trained nurse and attended Mr. Deavours in an illness.
Mr. and Mrs. Deavours had been in Panama for sometime. Mrs. Deavours returned to the home of her mother, Mrs. Lydia Seal, a few weeks ago, and January 18, gave birth to a son, who died last Saturday. She contracted pneumonia and this was the immediate cause of her death. Mr. Devours was notified of his wife's critical condition, but failed to reach her bedside before her death. She was about twenty-six years of age."
