Albert Buchanan
Albert (Buck) Buchanan, of Hill Street, Nanticoke, died Friday, July 22, 1988, at home.
Born In Glen Lyon, he was a son of the late Walter and Sarah Linsenberg Buchanan.
He was an Army veteran serving during World War II. Mr. Buchanan was formerly employed by the Susquehanna Coal Company and the Glen-Nan Coal Company. He was also a union official. He was a member of St. Francis Church and American Legion Post 350, Nanticoke and the United Mine Workers.
Surviving are his wife, the former Loretta Peranski; daughters, Mrs. Barbara Gorski, Nanticoke; Mrs. Janice Daniels, at home; sisters, Mrs. Daisy Kantor, Wanamie; Mrs. Olivia Sack and Mrs. Minnie Dauksis, Glen Lyon; four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday at 9 a.m. from the Earl W. Lohman Funeral Home, 14 W. Green St.. Nanticoke, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 In St. Francis Church. Interment will be at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Nanticoke.
Friends may call Sunday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Graveside military services will be conducted by American Legion Post 350.
