Mrs. Ianthe Walker, 71, widow of the late Warren R. Walker, residing at 1416 Elm street, died at 12:55 p.m. Saturday at St. Luke's hospital, after a brief illness. Mrs. Walker was born in Henry county, Ill., July 12, 1859. She was married to Warren R. Walker on Sept. 13, 1882. After residing for many years in Hillsdale, Ill., Mrs. Walker removed to Davenport eight years ago. Surviving are two sons, Hugo R. Walker, Erie, Ill., and W.W. Walker, Davenport; one daughter, Miss Mabel E., at home. A daughter, Mrs. Katherine Durbin, died in 1927. There are three sisters: Mrs. Lucina Withrow, Morrison, Ill., Mrs. Nettie Resser; East Moline, Ill., and Mrs. C.E. Gainey, Coal Valley, Ill., and one brother, Simeon Fuller, also of Coal Valley, Ill. There are 13 grandchildren. The body was removed to the Hill and Fredericks funeral home and will be returned to the late home on Elm street Monday. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m.m and the body taken to Hillsdale for interment.
