Charles Wade Fuller
Charles Wade Fuller was born in Erie county, New York, May 12, 1825. Died December 21, 1905, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ira Withrow, Geneseo township, Henry county, Ill. he came to Henry county with his parents in 1834. Was married in 1846 to Kisia Rowe, of New York, who died November 15, 1857. To them were born four children, namely: Thomas D. Fuller, Mrs. Josephine Bernard, Mrs. Cynthia Henninger and Henry Fuller, all of whom are living. The following year, 1858, he was married to Catherine Brady, of Pennsylvania, who died July 24, 1894, leaving five children, as follows: Mrs. Lantha [Iantha] Walker, Simeon Fuller, Mrs. Lucina Withrow, Mrs. Annetta Resser and Mrs. Marcelia Gainey all of whom are living. July, 1895, he married Julia Zilkee, of Moline, who is now living at that place. Mr. Fuller was a farmer and stock buyer and lived in Hanna township until he moved to Moline, March 1, 1889. In 1903, he came to live with his daughter, Mrs. Ira Withrow, where he resided until his death. He had been a strong, robust man until he was stricken with paralysis about the first of September, since when he had been a great sufferer until his death. The funeral services were held at the home of his daughter. Rev. Wade Smith, of Salem, officiating. The remains were interred in the Colbert cemetery.
