OBITUARY ~

Mrs. Lewis, Age 67, Dies

Mrs. Martha Estella Lewis, 67, of 1266 N. 16th St., died Thursday at 7:35 a.m. in St. Ann Hospital.

She became ill March 13 and had been hospitalized several times since then. She became seriously ill two days ago. Since her illness she had been living with her son, Perry Lewis of Hamby.

She was born April 6, 1892 in Milam County, and married O. W. Lewis at Rockdale in 1914. She moved to Abilene in 1939.

Survivors include her son, Perry, three daughters, Mrs. G. C. McGuyer of Concord, Calif., Mrs. L. F. Post of San Pablo, Calif., and Mrs. J. W. ParKer of Midland; three sisters, Mrs. Bill Yerkes of Downey, Calif., Mrs. Earl Weyant of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Dan Williams of Rockdale; and three brothers, Cecil Williams of Rockdale, Howard WIlliams of Lorenzo, and Sgt. Grady Williams of Anchorage, Alaska.

Funeral arrangements are pending at Elliott's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park.
