It is with regret that your correspondent records the death of Edward Kelsey, one of the leading farmers of Southern Blue Earth county, who died Thursday afternoon. It was thought at first that his illness was due to appendicitis, but Dr. Cooper of Winnebago was called and pronounced the case as inflammation of the bowels. The deceased was a young man in the prime of life, having just reached his 32nd year and posessed sterline qualities which endeared him to his friends. He was married in 1912 to Miss Eva Hartman, who with their child survives to mourn his loss.
