The funeral of Adam Rankin, who died Sunday night at his home at Speers hill, Dunbar, will take place tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock with interment in Mount Auburn cemetery.
Mr. Rankin was 64 years old and was one of the best known residents of Dunbar. He apparently was in his usual health up until about 9 o'clock Sunday night when he was stricken with acute indigestion. He was a life long resident of Dunbar and was a member of the Baptist church. For a number of years Mr. Rankin was stable boss at Mahoning.
He is survived by his widow, who was formerly Miss Lenora Ferren, and the following children: Mrs. Ray Campbell, Mrs. Grant Blackwell, Charles Buell, William Robert and Daniel Warne Rankin, all of Dunbar. One half-brother, Charles Rankin, of Brownsville, and the following half-sisters also survive: Mrs. Hannah Jenkins of Stafford, Nebraska; Mrs. John Stockdale of Uniontown; Mrs. Henry Hetzel of Connellsville, and Mrs. William Rhodes of Haydentown.
