Mrs. Swain (Charlene H.) Smith, 23, died March 12, 1984, in Houston, Texas, following a lengthy illness.
Services will take place Thursday, March 15, at the Witter-Dalton Funeral Home in Lawton, Okla. A memorial service for Mrs. Smith will take place 11 a.m. Sunday, March 25, at the Ironton Congregational Church with Rev. Russell E. Kruse officiating.
The former Charlene H. Hennessee was born Aug. 7, 1960, in Lawton, Okla., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hennessee. She married Swain E. Smith, a former Charlevoix resident, at Ironton and for the past eight months the couple resided in Houston, moving there from Lawton, Texas (should be Oklahoma).
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Smith is survived by two daughters, Tiffany and Courtney, both at home; one son, Jeremy, at home; one sister, Tracy H. Jones of Lawton, Okla.; one brother, Charles H. Hennessee Jr., of Lawton.
