Charles Edward 'Chuck' Hennessee Sr.
ELGIN
Funeral for Charles "Chuck" Edward Hennessee, 68, Elgin, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Delbert Hughes of Lighthouse Church of God, officiating.

Mr. Hennessee died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007, at his home.

Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

He was born Dec. 13, 1938, in Lawton to John Wiliam & Ruth (Harrison) Hennessee. He grew up in Lawton & attended Lincoln Elementary School, Central Junior High School & graduated from Lawton High School. He moved to California & worked in the shipyards as a welder. He returned to Lawton & worked as a driver at 7-Up bottling Company for 10 years. He also worked at Borden Milk Company as a driver. He moved to Dallas, & worked at LTV Inc. on the assembly line that manufactured airplane parts. He worked as a carpet installer with his brothers, son & nephews in the family business. He was a member of the Church of God.

Survivors include his mother of Lawton; a son, Charles "Chuck" Edward Hennessee Jr., Lawton; a daughter & son-in-law, Tracy and Jared Moore, Marlow; two brothers and sisters-in-law: John Paul & Jeanie Hennessee, Elgin; and Billy & Sheri Hennessee, Lawton; two sisters & brothers-in-law: Pamela Hennessee and James Ritter, Elgin; and Dana & Ernie Bagley, Snyder; 12 grandchildren: Tiffany Harris & her husband, Seth, Jeremy Anderson, Courtney Smith, Charles Edward Hennessee III, Heather Mae Hennessee, Matthew Hennessee, Brandon Hennessee, Anthony Grant, Tabitha Hankins, Aimee Jones, Emilee Jones, and Kendal Hillis; and eight great-grandchildren: Kyle, Kohl, Destini, Romeo, Adriana, Dylan, Cheyanne, and Alexandria.

He was preceded in death by his father; a daughter, Charlene Hennessee-Smith; & a brother, Nolan Dale Hennessee.
